Aquí están las candidatas a imágenes destacadas

Ten en cuenta que todo el proceso se realiza en inglés por lo que necesitarás conocimientos mínimos de éste para poder presentar una nueva nominación.

Formalidades[edit]

Nominación[edit]

Si crees que hay alguna foto en Commons lo suficientemente atractiva como para estar entre las imágenes destacadas, entonces por favor inclúyela en la lista de candidaturas editando este enlace. Si hay consenso general después de 10 días, la imagen se transferirá a imágenes destacadas.

Crear una nueva nominación[edit]

Paso 1: copia el nombre de la imagen y pégalo en este cuadro (incluyendo el prefijo Image: ), cuando ya hayas pegado el nombre de la imagen, por ejemplo: Commons:Featured picture candidates/Image:EL-NOMBRE-DE-TU-IMAGEN.JPG. Haz clic en el botón crear nueva nominación.

Paso 2: Sigue las instrucciones que verás en la página para rellenar los campos de información de tu imagen.

Paso 3: Manualmente inserta un enlace a la página que has creado sobre tu imagen arriba del todo en Commons:Featured picture candidates/candidate list: Haz clic aquí, y añade la siguiente línea ARRIBA en la página de nominaciones:

Para votar puedes usar las siguientes plantillas:

Puedes indicar que una imagen no puede ser destacada con {{FPX|razón}}, donde en razón explicas los motivos claramente por los que no puede ser destacada.

Por favor explica brevemente porque estas a favor o en contra de la nominación de esa imagen, especialmente cuando votes en contra.

Puedes hacer comentarios en el idioma que quieras, aunque más vale tener en cuenta el hecho de que la mayor parte de los usuarios hablan inglés.

Reglas[edit]

Hay 9 días de deliberaciones. Se decide el resultado al día 10 después de la nominación.
Los usuarios anónimos pueden proponer candidatas.
Los usuarios anónimos pueden participar en la discusión.
Los votos de usuarios anónimos no cuentan.
Una nominación no cuenta automáticamente como un voto. Debes expresar tu apoyo de forma explícita.

La candidata se convertirá en una imagen destacada a condición de:

estar bajo una licencia libre (por supuesto)
que haya un mínimo de siete votos a favor
que la proporción de votos a favor / en contra sea al menos 2/1 (o sea, una mayoría de dos tercios o 67%)
si a partir del quinto día, la candidatura tiene al menos diez votos a favor y ninguno en contra, automáticamente será destacada (regla del quinto día)

Fishing activity on the Doce River has been significantly affected after the 2015 environment disaster, when the failure of a dam released 43.7 million cubic metres of mine tailings into the river, causing a toxic mudflow to pollute its waters; the mudflow consequently reached the Atlantic Ocean 17 days later. Comment A great, sharp photo of the Pristimantis elegans, certainly not taken under easy conditions. There are some bright dots/traces on dark ground in the right and upper right part of the image. Oppose Bright part of the image wasn't handled very well and the processing treatment has left strange artifacts around the window frame. Oppose Perhaps not the best angle for this. When faced with a very bright opening, it's often better to go for the things that the light illuminates and let the bright window be implied. Oppose The weather did not help in this photo, it also looks unclear, possibly due to lens distortion or lack of luminosity. Also the composition seems to try to place the sea and the houses, but neither of them seems like a main subject, the houses look cut off and the sea too. Answer The explanation is given in the {{Retouched}} template, in the file page : The camera and its tripod reflected in the mirrors have been deleted in post-process. To achieve this purpose, two pictures have been taken from different positions, targeting the same direction. Thanks! Yes, exactly, you got everything right, except for the slight offset in the reflection, which is probably caused by imperfect alignment of the mirrors opposite each other, rather than by camera shift. The second image is used just to compensate for the small area where the camera appears through the mirror. This involves “filling” this part with the (hidden) furniture or sink. Sorry, but I don't get your point about the trash can. This is where you find trash cans in hotel rooms usually - if I am looking for one in a hotel room, I look under the sink first. Info Bilberries are the Scandinavian version of blueberries. There is an ancient tradition of picking them in our woods, and in the old days the dried berries were a staple in most Swedish kitchens. They have been made known to the rest of the world through the Vasaloppet cross-country ski race, where the participants are served traditional hot bilberry soup. The stick is probably just a mishap from its recent rummaging around on the ground. These guys are notorious for disturbing soil as they look for things to eat. They are a big problem in Sweden since they get into peoples' gardens and tear them up. Oppose Sorry, I'm not convinced. This kind of fish usually hides in the reefs and hunts by night, so that I wouldn't call the scene here his habitat where it camouflages. Comment Thank you for your reviews. I understand that one of the three elephants beeing half in the frame can be disturbing for some of you at first glance. However the focus is more on the baby elephant that is at the center of the frame and that is surounded by his family, the two others elephants protecting the baby from both sides like guardians. Also the mother can be seen uncropped behind the two others. As for the vegetation, two elephants are simply walking over it and are still very visible above it. InfoThe coolness of the night caused small drops of water, called "Dew", to form on the glass of the car, which I photographed, illuminated by the sun. The dew point is the temperature at which the air becomes saturated with water vapor and water drops begin to form, i.e. condensation. Condensation occurs when the air temperature drops, reducing the amount of energy available to keep water in the form of vapor. A natural phenomenon from which a beautiful image to see is born. Inside each drop you can see concentric circles forming the drop itself.

A photo of the same type has already been recognized as featured, but I propose this one that I took later because it seems even more visually beautiful to me.

I thought about doing that too but the image would look very elongated like those phone images. Also leaving the tree in the foreground shows the distance and that there are more trees around. In my opinion the waves in this photo give a very welcome sense of depth to the subject as well as a context to the image. Also, shooting birds in flight with a background behind them is a lot more difficult than simple plain blue sky as it is generally more difficult to keep the subject in focus in this scenario. Also the camera seems very close to water level, which makes this shot even harder to do.
